Cameraing for the final

for the camera techniques final I have to use a set that the teacher provided, with some cavemen and a dinosaur, and I have to tell a story using a song with fast and slow parts. My idea is to have a robot (alien or time traveler) arrive at earth and try to communicate with the huamns. When the dinosaur arrives, the robot kills it. The cavemen get the bright idea that if the robot can kill the dinosaur he must be better meat than the dinosaur, so they beat on him with their clubs, and the robot short circuits. the robot's time machine sends them to different places everytime they hit him. (locations: vietnam war, a freeway, a boat, completely blank, etc.)

This video what I did in four hours for the Vietnam part, I still got plenty of work to do, but I figured I could show the progress in posts. I usually delete my first passes to save space, so it'll be cool to look back at the first run through to compare to the final product.

I modeled and textured terrain, rigged the choppers, jeep, and low poly soldier, and animated all. (the models of the Jeeps, hummer, helicopters, gun emplacement, and soldiers were all found on Google sketchup warehouse.)

I'm going to work on the intro in the robot's ship next.
